Starbucks Corp's new CEO Brian Niccol made a whopping yearly compensation touching nearly $100 million mark this year.
As per Bloomberg data, Niccol earned $96 million for four months of work in 2024, which is the highest in corporate America.
Salary Breakdown
About 94% of Niccol’s pay came from stock awards wherein a lion’s share of the amount is tied to performance, while some are time-based, continuing over a three-year period. Following a month’s anniversary with the company, Niccol also received a sign-on bonus worth $5 million.
Bloomberg reported, Niccol's salary included $143,000, apportioned towards housing expenses of which about 50% were tax-related payments, while $72,000 have been spent for flying between his home in southern California to the Starbucks HQ in Seattle. Close to $19,000 are disbursed towards other personal use of company aircraft.
